Kesha unveiled a rallying cry today (Sept. 19) titled “Here Comes the Change,” an empowering country-hued belter complete with tom-tom drums and a harmonica. It will appear on the soundtrack for On the Basis of Sex, the Ruth Bader Ginsburg biopic starring Felicity Jones and Armie Hammer. Kesha attends the 2018 Billboard Music Awards 2018 at the MGM Grand Resort International on May 20, 2018 in Las Vegas. “Here Comes the Change” is delivered with a lyric video that bridges the gap between the political activism of generations past and a new era of enacting change. A multicultural collective of young folks gather around a podium to protest, vote, and exercise their civic duty in front of a screen illuminated with footage of marches and protests. The video ends with a campaign from non-partisan nonprofit HeadCount, encouraging viewers to register to vote. The single’s artwork was designed by Shepard Fairey, the artist-activist who, most famously, created the “Hope” poster that served as the visual for Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign. “I wanted to explore the legacy of political activists in our country throughout the years who have fought for equality and positive change,” Kesha wrote in a piece for Refinery29 explaining her new song. “The message is that the long, proud tradition of American social activism is alive and well. It’s being passed on to the next generation. It will continue to evolve one success at a time, and is as important as ever.” Watch the lyric video for “Here Comes the Change” below.

Kelsea Ballerini and The Chainsmokers team up for their new single “The Feeling”. “I’m such a fan of these guys as people, artists, and songwriters,” Kelsea raved about working with The Chainsmokers. “I’ve covered a few of their songs on different tours and as far as collaborators, they’ve always been at the top of my list! Robyn finally returns this fall with her long awaited follow-up to Body Talk titled Honey.
Out Oct. 26 on Konichiwa/Interscope Records, Honey follows the 2017 tease of an early version of the LP’s title track on Lena Dunham’s Girls, as well as the summer 2018 release of the album’s “Missing U.” “With this album I've gone more back into the softer I get, the more it happens, and the more colors and dynamic a song gets,” Robyn said of Honey in a May 2018 chat at NYC’s Museum of Modern Art as part of the Red Bull Music Festival. “And for me, that meant shutting down for awhile and being sparse with my impressions and sensitive to what I needed.” While it’s been 8 years since Body Talk, the Swedish pop queen hasn’t been entirely absent. She released the collaborative EP Do It Again with Röyksopp in 2014, the Love Is Free EP as part of La Bagatelle Magique in 2015 and the Trust Me EP with Mr. Tophat in 2016.

Weezer previously took to social media to tease a poster advertising a family therapy service, featuring frontman Rivers Cuomo's head. "California Snow" will appear during the end credits of Spell, which is set for release on Sept. 23.
Alex Aiono released his new video for 'Big Mistake' earlier over the weekend and opened up aout the meaning behind the track. I had a bad break up that inspired my writing the song, and its all about that emotional process,” Alex says of the track. “You get humbled, your heart hurts, and I wanted the Big Mistake video to capture that frustration.” He continued, “The straight jacket seemed like the perfect metaphor. Im dancing, Im kinda losing it, and Im trying to get over her but I feel like I cant get out…until I did.”

Fresh off of Janelle Monaé's critically acclaimed Dirty Computer album earlier this year. Janelle is featured in the YouTube’s Artist Spotlight A Revolution of Love, mini-documentary that follows features from the likes of J Balvin and Camila Cabello. A Revolution of Love is directed by Emma Westernberg, who also spearheaded the femme-loving visuals for “Pynk.” With interviews from her mother, her creative partners at Wonderland, and Tessa Thompson, the doc serves as a portrait of Monaé’s life and creative process as she fulfills her quest for finding love and connection through her music. “Music can unite, no matter what political party you’re in, no matter what God you choose to serve,” she says in the documentary. “You can absolutely connect with somebody over a good horn line.” Watch the mini-documentary below: Noah Cyrus and Lil Xan broke up a few weeks ago. Though they had already released their musical collaboration "Live Or Die," in the peak of the messy public breakup, Lil Xan canceled the upcoming music video on an Instagram live stream. Though there is no explanation as to why it was ultimately released, the video shows the couple in a room showing affection and smiling. "Two heartbreak soldiers/When you lay by my side/I see the whole world through your eyes/Ride or die, you and I," Cyrus croons in the pre chorus.
