Taylor Swift's beef with Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta from Big Machine escalated again as she is now claiming that they're blocking her from performing her own songs at the upcoming American Music Awards. Sources connected to Big Machine say that they have tried to reach a compromise with Taylor, but she's rejected everything and is out for blood.
Taylor says she planned to do a medley of her hits throughout the decade at the AMAs -- which is presenting her with the Artist of the Decade Award -- but says Scooter and Scott claim that would be rerecording her music ... something she's not allowed to do until November 2020, because Big Machine owns the masters.
On top of that, Swift revealed Netflix is making a documentary about her life, but she says Scooter and Scott have declined the use of her older music and performance footage for that project too ... UNLESS she bows down to their demands.
Big Machine sources say that Taylor has admitted she owes the label more than $7 million and hasn't paid for more than a year. The sources add she also owes BM masters and video content. The sources say Scott and Scooter have extended an olive branch to Taylor, asking her to sit down with them and try to bury the hatchet, but she flatly refused, threatening if they didn't give her exactly what she wanted she'd go public and tell people to attack Big Machine as well as Scott and Scooter.
Taylor says Big Machine demanded she NOT rerecord copycat versions of her songs next year like she's planning ... and to stop talking about them. Or as she puts is ... "be a good little girl and shut up. Or you'll be punished."
Swift says she's at wit's end and doesn't know what else to do, so she's asking her fans to speak out and let Scooter and Scott know how they feel about this.
Ultimately, she says she hopes other artists Scooter manages "can talk some sense into the men who are exercising tyrannical control over someone who just wants to play the music she wrote."
Big Machine sources are saying Taylor's lawyer told them he couldn't contain what she does or what she says publicly about them.

After being asked to work on the Queen & Slim film soundtrack, Vince Staples recruited 6LACK and Mereba for "Yo Love," which premiered as Zane Lowe's World Record on Monday (Nov. 11).
"I seen the movie and I was like, 'Aw man, they shot the police, that’s crazy. I can get with this because it’s not real, it’s a movie. It’s a figment of imagination, we would never encourage anyone to uprise like that in real life because we don’t need that at this point in the world, right?" he told Beats 1 of the guitar-laced track's origin. "Boom, other things happened, there were more shootings, there was a Cadillac de Ville, there was a brothel, there was a lot of nature. I was like, 'Man, this is crazy, this is inspiring. I should call 6LACK' -- and that’s what happened."
Queen & Slim: The Soundtrack releases in full on Friday before the movie starring Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith hits theaters Nov. 27. Look for contributions from Megan Thee Stallion, Lauryn Hill and Lil Baby on the soundtrack.
Staples has kept busy with The Vince Staples Show, which saw the release of "So What?" and "Sheet Music" on the music front since his move to Motown Records earlier this year.
Britney Spears to Launch a Pop-Up Experience at the Beginning of 2020 But Make Sure You Have The Right Location
In January, LA will host “The Zone." Described as the ultimate Britney Spears fan experience with 10 rooms filled with memorabilia, signature items and exhibits like a faux commercial airliner (from her “Toxic” music video), a 40-foot tightrope photo walk, a live ringmaster, tarot card reader machine and the jacket and bike from the “Circus” tour. The entire shebang is named after the pop superstar’s fourth studio album, In the Zone.
EXCITING RIGHT!?! The Zone will be on Fairfax Avenue and Third Street. Make sure you have the proper directions because there is another "ZONE" only a few blocks away. The "other" Zone is described as “the most popular sex club for men in Southern California”, boasting attractions that include two floors of mazes, private booths, “BJ bullpens and stalls,” a TV lounge and outdoor patio. “While most guys keep their clothes on, going nude is cool too!” reads the sex club's website. Yasssss, the gay Zone is a five minute drive away, on Sycamore Avenue near Santa Monica Boulevard.
A source close to the "Adult-Themed-Zone" hoping to clear up any confusion between the two Zones, reminded The Hollywood Reporter that the gay sex club is formally called “The Zone L.A.” Meanwhile a rep for the Spears version tells THR: "The Britney Spears ‘The Zone’ is a temporary interactive experience so fans can connect with their favorite artist." Tickets for which are now on sale.
Kevin Hart made his first public appearance since his scary car crash more than 2 months ago, to accept the Comedy Act Award at the E! People's Choice Awards Sunday night for his Netflix special, 'Irresponsible.'
The crowd erupted in to applause and gave Hart a standing ovation as he came out after Robert Downey Jr. announced he had won the award.
Kevin said ... "First and foremost, man, thank God because I definitely don't have to be here." He went on to say he appreciates life more now after his accident, especially the things that really matter -- like his wife and kids.
Hart also thanked the people for their energy and support during his difficult time, saying ... "You have no idea the effect you have on us as entertainers."
Kevin was involved in a single-car crash on September 1 with 2 other people, and suffered serious injuries along with the driver. Hart suffered 3 spinal fractures requiring serious rehab and physical therapy.
