CNN has decided to end its decadelong relationship with Kathy Griffin as a result of the comedian’s controversial photo shoot, in which she held a prop that resembled the bloodied head of President Donald Trump.
Griffin has been a regular feature of CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage since 2007, when she first co-hosted the festivities with Anderson Cooper.
Griffin initially defended the photo shoot with celebrity photographer and director Tyler Shields as a work of art when the photos were first released Tuesday. Later that night, as the criticism grew louder, she apologized and said she had asked Shields to take down the photo.
“I beg for your forgiveness. I went too far. I made a mistake and I was wrong,” she said.
CNN said in a previous statement shortly after Griffin posted the video that the network was “pleased” Griffin apologized for the “disgusting and offensive” image. Nevertheless, they said they were “evaluating” whether Griffin will be invited to help host the channel’s New Year’s Eve special once again. The image was roundly criticized by people including President Trump and Griffin’s New Year’s Eve co-host, Cooper.

Every year, BTS hold's their 'BTS FESTA' to celebrate their debut on June 13. This is their 4th anniversary, and the band has released a skit to tease the upcoming events. Rap Monster is talking about his project with V, Jin said he had something in mind, while J-Hope's comment that Jin always had good intentions made everyone laugh, and Jimin was worried about his portion. (At least that's what the translator said was happening)
Kesha and Eagles of Death Metal have recorded two songs, according to an interview with the rock band's guitarist Dave Catching.
Speaking with Rolling Stone about his debut solo album, Shared Hallucinations Pt. 1, which was released earlier this month, Catching revealed they worked with the singer on a couple tracks for her upcoming album. "She used to come to Eagles shows when she was 16," said Catching. "She was always a big fan. Then I remember we got back from Europe ... and she was on every magazine cover when we landed from a tour. It was really amazing." Read the full interview here. 20-year-old pop artist Camila Cabello is now the newest face of Guess' Fall 2017 campaign.
“I couldn’t be more excited to partner with Guess on this incredible campaign,” Cabello said in a press release. “I’ve grown up loving their aesthetic and not in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be lucky enough to be a part of it." The Paul Marciano (Chief Creative Officer of Guess) directed campaign is classic Guess--heritage denim, 90s style mania tees and oversized jackets all shot against the uber-Americana, road tripping backdrop of California's Palmdale dessert. And while Cabello's aesthetic here is the signature, buxom-look of Guess, reminiscent of 'Guess Girls' past (Anna Nicole Smith, Adriana Lima and Claudia Schiffer, to name a few), this campaign, Marciano says, is different. “Camila’s confidence, strength and beauty reflect the qualities I look for in a Guess Girl," the CCO said. “Choosing Camila to be the face of Guess this fall celebrates that Guess Girls are multi-talented, dynamic and accomplished women.”
