Jake Miller is putting a twist on the new tunes though, while getting his family involved, for the Quarantunes EP.
Jake and his family are making TikTok videos to pass the time by, and they’re making funny, quarantine related songs to go along with them. One of the most recent ones, Jake sings about how they are “making the best out of all this free time”, and his dad takes it a little too far. LOL! Other songs include the just released “Driving to Nowhere”, “House Party”, “How Long Will This Last?”, and “Take a Walk”.
K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE released their third EP I Trust along with a music video for lead single “Oh My God”.
Fans have been anticipating (G)I-DLE's comeback; the video is trending at #9 on YouTube with over 8 million views as of press time. Meanwhile, the sextet’s newest EP features five tracks, including an English version of “Oh My God.” I Trust is the followup to their second EP I Made, released in 2019. After signing with ASIAN AGENT late last year, the girl group has been making moves to grow their fan base in the U.S. market. James Charles is facing backlash after posting a controversial #mugshotchallenge via social media.
Charles took part in the latest Tik Tok viral makeup trend that sees users create "fake mugshots" by painting on fake injuries like cuts, tears and bruises before posing as they would if they were taking a real mug shot. (Some even took inspiration from some of the most iconic celebrity mugshots.) The mugshot challenge has been called triggering and tone-deaf, and some believe Charles took his challenge a little too far by making it look as though he was beaten up. The since-deleted photos show the 20-year-old shirtless with dark eyeshadow blended around his eye and blood dripping from one of his nostrils. This promoted some people — including domestic violence survivors — to call him out for "glamorizing abuse." After the criticism, Charles did publicly address the controversy by responding to a follower who said her history with domestic abuse makes it difficult for her to see videos and photos of the mugshot challenge. "hi babe, I’m so sorry that you went through something so awful and traumatic," he tweeted. "it’s a tik tok trend going around where people post their 'mugshots' and has nothing to do with domestic violence whatsoever. love you" "I do understand that but this dumb trend has nothing to do with domestic abuse," Charles wrote in response to another user. "what about action movies? halloween? special effects? simple bloody noses? this is nothing new." He later attempted to defend himself, adding that it was never his intention to "trigger anyone." "despite the fact that hundreds of other influencers and artists have done something similar, I deleted the mugshot trend because it was never my intention to trigger anyone & it's a waste of time trying to have an open discussion with people who hate me regardless," Charles wrote.

She also announced that she will be personally donating to the Plus 1 COVID-19 Relief Fund, and she is donating $1 of every order in her official store to the fund, effective immediately. The Rare deluxe album will be out THIS Thursday (April 9). You can pre-save right here! One of BTS's most successful releases reaches a very special milestone on the Billboard charts.
BTS’s single “Mic Drop,” the most popular version of which was remixed by Steve Aoki and features rapper Desiigner, is present on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart once again this week at No. 21. The track has now spent 121 frames somewhere on the short list, which is one of the most impressive stays in the history of the list among all Korean acts. “Mic Drop” is now tied with another track as the fifth-longest-charting track by a Korean artist or group on the World Digital Song Sales ranking. On the same level as “Mic Drop” is 2NE1’s “I Am the Best,” which also managed 121 turns on the list. Leading the way among all singles by Korean artists when it comes to the most time spent on the World Digital Songs chart is Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” which has now lived on the list for 342 weeks (and counting). BTS’s “Dope” is next up with 139 frames, followed by BigBang’s “Fantastic Baby” with 136 turns and finally BTS’s “Fire,” which rounds out the top five. That cut managed 123 weeks somewhere on the tally, enough to make it the fourth-longest-charting in the ranking’s tenure. While BTS may currently be tied with 2NE1, the septet’s collaboration with Desiigner continues to add to its total almost every week, while 2NE1’s “I Am the Best” hasn’t been present on the chart for a while, and it is unlikely to return anytime soon. If “Mic Drop” can hold on and land on next week’s World Digital Song Sales chart, which seems likely at this point, it will keep the title of the fifth-longest-charting Korean single in the lists’s history, while 2NE1’s “I Am the Best” will dip outside the top five. Tekashi 6ix9ine says he will be on his best social media behavior now that he's outta prison. His lawyers say the rapper won't start beefs or troll other artists, because the feds are watching him. Tekashi's attorney, Lance Lazzaro, says 6ix9ine has no restrictions regarding his use of social media, despite being on federally supervised probation for the next 5 years. While 69's probation officer will be monitoring everything Tekashi posts on social media, 6ix9ine will not post anything inflammatory and will use his discretion and common sense when he uses social media. Tekashi made his return to Instagram Sunday, commenting on a story about snitching by saying, "Coming to the rescue." A clear jab at himself, but it likely wasn't received too well by those locked up because of Telashi's snitching. Instead, we're told Tekashi will be using his social media platforms to promote his new music. Marsha Ambrosius Let Fans Know She Sang the Ad-Libs on 'Cry Me a River,' Not Justin Timberlake4/5/2020

BTS‘s V posted a video on the official BTS account sharing what he’s been up to in quarantine amid the global health crisis.
“Everyone, when you’re bored, have a conversation with your television. #StayingAtHomeChallenge,” he captioned the video (translation via AllKPop), in which he is seen dancing in his living room in slippers as the TV plays Postmodern Jukebox‘s retro cover of The Chainsmokers and Halsey‘s “Closer.” As the song plays, he tries to repeat the dance moves and sing along. The video’s already racked up over 6 million views and well over a million “likes” on Twitter alone.
