No Doubt will reunite some day, the group’s bassist Tony Kanal insists.
Kanal, who’s now formed a three-piece group DREAMCAR since Gwen Stefani’s tumultuous 2015 divorce from Gavin Rossdale, told W.E.N.N. in a story published yesterday (April 23) that he’s sure the gang will get back together again. No Doubt’s last album, Push and Shove, dropped in 2012 to lukewarm response and sales. “I think we’re on an indefinite hiatus right now,” Kanal said. “I would say we will definitely play at some point, but there haven’t been any plans or anything.” Gwen has a different point of view. In a June 2016 interview with Rolling Stone, Stefani said she couldn’t reasonably see a future in which No Doubt thrived. Push and Shove proved the band’s best days are definitely behind them, she said. “I don’t know what’s going to happen with No Doubt,” she said. “When Tony and I are connected creatively, it’s magic. But I think we’ve grown apart as far as what kind of music we want to make. I was really drained and burned out when we recorded the album. And I had a lot of guilt: ‘I have to do it.’ That’s not the right setting to make music.” “There’s some really great writing on that record. But the production felt really conflicted,” she added. “It was sad how we all waited that long to put something out and it didn’t get heard.”

Jay Z partnered with Live Nation in 2008 and formed a joint venture called Roc Nation, which has now become a management, publishing and recording empire. Since then J. Cole has become one of its biggest artists, in addition to a slew of big-name rappers and singers they currently managed. With his own $150 million, 10-year 360 deal nearing the end, it looks like Mr. Carter is ready to make another run. According to Billboard, Jay Z has secured a new deal with Live Nation and it’s not a 360 arrangement. Jay and Live Nation will still continue their management and recording partnership (under Roc Nation), but the rap mogul will have equity in the company and in return they will cover his touring business. “Live Nation has a new longterm deal with Jay Z and we expect to continue being equity partners in Roc Nation for many years to come,” a rep told Billboard. Meanwhile, Jay Z has been making big moves in the television arena. Most recently, he partnered with the National Geographic channel (aka Nat Geo) to produce a docu-series on race relations in the United States. Machine Gun Kelly's concert was delayed when severe chest pain forced him off stage to get medical assistance. MGK grabbed at his chest multiple times while performing at Seminole Casino in South FL and then eventually he couldn't stand the pain anymore. He walked off in the middle of doing his hit, "Bad Things." According to Kelly's reps, paramedics had to come check him out at the venue. It wasn't a heart issue ... turns out Kelly was injured while shooting the movie "Captive State" a day earlier. We're told he's doing some of his own stunts on the flick, and as he described it ... got "punched in the chest 65 times." It is unclear what the diagnosis is broken ribs or just bruised -- but MGK toughed it out, and finished the show. Early Sunday morning, Frank Ocean aired episode 004 of his “blonded RADIO” Beats 1 show. The new episode featured a new song from Frank Ocean called “Lens,” which you can hear below. At one point near the end of the episode, Frank played a version of “Lens” with Travis Scott on it. In previous Blonded episodes Frank Ocean has interviewed Jay Z and premiered new tracks including Chanel and Biking ft. Jay Z and Tyler the Creator. Before that, he shared “Chanel,” and his Calvin Harris collaboration “Slide.” LISTEN TO 'LENS' HERE LISTEN TO 'BLONDED 004' HERE Ariana Grande confirmed she’ll swing Down Under later this year for tour, which will be a first time for the pop princess. Produced by Live Nation’s Australasian company, Grande’s Dangerous Womanjaunt will kick off Sept. 2 at Auckland’s Spark Arena, then hit Australia’s east coast for concerts in the three biggest cities, Melbourne (Rod Laver Arena on Sept. 5), Sydney (ICC Theatre on Sept. 9) and Brisbane (Entertainment Centre on Sept. 12). With these shows, Grande is fulfilling a pledge she made on Australia’s Sunrise TV show last September when she insisted, "I’m definitely coming too Australia. That is confirmed. I’m definitely, definitely coming.” The general ticket onsale starts April 28. Grande is touring in support of her third and most recent LP Dangerous Woman, opened at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart in May 2016. Her debut Yours Truly reached No. 6 in September 2013 and her sophomore set, My Everything, bowed at the summit the following year, around the time she made a promotional visit to these shores. Kylie was attending the grand opening of Sugar Factory Saturday night, where she paused for photos on the red carpet ... before protestors showed up and put a sour taste in the mouth of the Instagram-famous princes. Protesters were loud, but never got physical with Kylie ... unlike those who blasted her sister, Kim a few years ago. Some of Kylie's furs have been reported to be fake in the past, but that clearly doesn't matter to the activists.
I don't even think Rihanna's NAVY can save her from this Instagram backlash.
Rihanna was put on blast on Saturday night after posting a series of image showing the Queen's head on her body in honor of the 91-year-old British monarch's birthday. In one photo (above), Elizabeth sported major cleavage and held a 40 oz. beer in her hand, in others she wore thigh high boots and cutoff jeans. While meant as a joke, many of Rihanna's followers didn't see it that way, calling the post "disrespectful." At the time of this writing, Rihanna hasn't commented on the backlash and the post above still received over 500k likes. Here are some of the comments and more Photoshopped photos below. "Disrespectful" "It's not cool" "You insult the Queen" "This is horrific and distasteful" "Do u even know how lion this lady was ma'am. Educate yourself movie star" "Bad taste to say the least" "Horrible, senseless disrespect to a real Queen" "If the Queen sees this am sure will will not be amused" "Rihanna you are so small... you have always been" "I am educated enough to know the difference between a bitch and a respectful woman" "Looks like something Madonna would post to provoke pointlessly" "Money Can't Buy Class" "You're a stupid little girl" "Just because you walk around half naked showing your boobs most of the time and have no self respect, doesn't mean you can do whatever you wish to one of the most respected women in the world- Queen Elizabeth. Money can't make you Royalty" "Have a bit of respect, girl" "Why are you being such a bitch to a person my country respects" "I can no longer follow you. It's a shame. I met you in Australia on one of your first performances and served your team fried chicken. I walked behind you down the stairs and you were once so nice"
Now in Rihanna's defense NOT everyone was upset with the Balizain Bad Girl, as some fans showed support, and totally got the joke:
"Omg love it!" "And this is why your so loved. Too cool for the fools p.s. im a fool lol" "LMAO im dying" "Powerful" "I Love you more!" No mater what side you are on Rihanna shows she is the Queen of Social Media!

Before Chance the Rapper hits the road for his “Be Encouraged” Tour next week, the Chicago native is making sure that no unauthorized entities profit off the trek. Last Wednesday (April 19), The Coloring Book creator filed a lawsuit against several bootleggers – who remained unidentified – for allegedly selling fake merchandise during his 2016 tour.
The complaint is a preemptive strike against bootleggers as Chance wants his fans to buy authorized clothing from him. More importantly, profits from his merchandise will most likely go to his charitable arts program, which is benefiting the budget-strapped Chicago Public Schools. So far, he has raised over $2.5 million for CPS. So you can’t be mad at him for filing a lawsuit. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Chance owns the Chance the Rapper trademark for the sales of T-shirts, baseball caps, hoodies, sweatshirts and other apparel. “Artist has achieved wide renown during his career in the music industry, as well as through his humanitarian and charitable efforts in his hometown of Chicago,” his attorneys wrote in the lawsuit. Chance announced that his “Be Encouraged” Tour will kick off next week with King Louie and DJ Oreo opening up the show. The tour launches April 24 in San Diego, Calif., and stretches through the summer before winding down on Oct. 20 in Phoenix, Ariz.
