Troye Sivan and Martin Garrix released their new single, and music video, featuring concert footage—on Friday (May 26).

“Last year took a toll on me / But I made it with you next to me / Around the world and back again / I hope you waited at the end,” Sivan sings, seemingly pleading with a lover, or maybe even his loving fan base.

“But I can’t do this alone / Sometimes I just need a light / If I call you on the phone / I need you on the other side,” he croons, promising that in return, he’ll be “there for you.”

“But you gotta be there for me too,” Sivan sings before the drop, as a flurry of chirpy synths fly in.
