Porter Robinson and his friend Madeon paired up on the original hit “Shelter” as well as a fully collaborative tour which saw the two producers live mash their catalogues into one epic sound fantasy. Then, Robinson tried his hand at story writing with the official “Shelter” music video, which was more or less a mini-anime on its own.
It seems the damn has burst on Robinson's creative spark, and the Worlds creator promises that whatever had him down and out of the studio in 2015 is now in the past.
The two are very animate about this being a one song, one tour, one time experience, but some superfans may have also noticed a physical EP release of Shelter in Japan. Don't worry, the rest of the world isn't missing out on anything. Robinson addressed the issue with a fan on Twitter.
