Fresh off her Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony and a little over a week after announcing her new album on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, P!nk shows no sign of slowing down, as she just dropped a teaser of the first single from the upcoming release.
The 39-year-old singer shared a brief clip of her powerful new song "Walk Me Home" on Twitter Friday (Feb. 16), writing, "'Walk me home in the dead of night…..'-- Coming Soon!!!" The new track -- from her forthcoming album, Hurts 2B Human -- is set for release this on Feb. 22. Listen to the snipped below. During her recent appearance on Ellen, P!nk treated the audience to an impromptu snippet of the new single, belting out the lyrics, “Walk me home in the dead of night/ I can’t be alone with all that’s on my mind/ Say you’ll stay with me tonight/ 'Cause there is so much wrong going on outside." P!nk also revealed that the video for "Walk Me Home" will be helmed by The Greatest Showman director Michael Gracey. The collaboration is particularly fitting considering that she recorded her take on the song “A Million Dreams” for the hit movie musical’s 2017 covers album, The Greatest Showman: Reimagined. Hurts 2B Human will be P!nk’s eighth full-length studio album, the follow-up to the Grammy-nominated Beautiful Trauma. The set will be released in April.
