Lorde Celebrates 21st Birthday by Leaving Secret Packages For Fans

Lorde turned 21 years old on Tuesday (Nov. 7) and ahead of playing two shows at home in her native New Zealand, she decided to embrace the gift of giving as a way to celebrate a new year of life.

On Monday (Nov. 6), leading up to a show at Dunedin, Lorde tweeted, "DUNEDIN: left a little package in the city library behind this book. see you tonight," with a target emoji, pointing to a secret present she left for one lucky fan.

Lorde's fans flocked to  Dundedin and Christchurch, for which the pop star expressed great gratitude on Twitter.
