Katy Perry Celebrates 'Eye-Opening' Year of 'Witness' With New Studio Footage

Katy Perry has marked the one-year anniversary of her fifth studio album, Witness, by releasing a new deluxe edition of the LP and some behind-the-scenes footage.

In a quick, heartfelt birthday card for the album, Perry reflects on the year she's spent touring in support of Witness and what she's learned from the experience. "Thank you for witnessing me," she writes. "I hope I've helped you feel safe, seen & celebrated while on tour!"

She also posted a video of her and her team working on "Power" in the studio. She opens up about her relationship with her mother, and how talks through the inspiration for the lyrics as they come to her.
