The Bangtan Boys just released an album in October, but they are apparently already suiting up for another comeback. After a news item broke this week suggesting that the Wings superstar K-pop troupe would be planning a comeback in February of this year, their agency, Big Hit Entertainment, issued a clarifying statement (via AllKPop) — only adding further fuel to the Fire. (Eh heh. Get it? “Fire”?) “It’s true that BTS is currently preparing with the goal of a comeback in February, but nothing has yet been confirmed… They are still discussing what type of release they will put out. No time period for a release has been set.” The group’s latest 2016 studio album set the record for the highest-charting, best-selling K-Pop album on the Billboard 200, ushering in immediate rumors of a U.S. debut. The album also won as Best Album of 2016 in the PopCrush Fan Choice Awards. The group took home the Artist of the Year award at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards in December.
