Jay Park & 2 Chainz Team Up for 'Soju' Music Video

The Music video for the Jay Park and 2 Chainz, “Soju” track was just released.

The “Soju” video shows Park, 2 Chainz and their crew chilling outside a liquor store and in a Korean BBQ restaurant as they enjoy a good time while drinking the titular beverage.

The song was released May 25 and had its live premiere in New York City during a May 24 performance at SOB’s. Produced by Park’s frequent collaborators Cha Cha Malone and Woogie, “Soju” is an ode to the South Korea’s most popular drink. “It's the end of the day/ All my bills paid/ So we 'bout to get lit off the Soju,” croons Park in the chorus over a trap beat. 2 Chainz makes his appearance in the latter half of the song, rapping about wealth and his “valentine.”

After leaving Seattle to pursue a career in South Korea, Park made his name amid the K-pop scene as one of South Korea’s most popular hip-hop and R&B artists. “Soju” is his first song released under Roc Nation. He signed with the label last year.

The Fader reports that Park will release his Ask 'Bout Me EP in July.
