Janet Jackson, is gearing up to drop some new music soon.
Jackson, who confirmed to Billboard back in May that she's working a new project, was spotted shooting footage for a new video in Brooklyn on Monday (July 23).
There was no music being played during the shoot and video clip of Jackson and her dancers from getting their groove on. Jackson, who was rocking a colorful ensemble that included a bright green headscarf and yellow belt, was surrounded a quartet of dancing men as she sashayed down the street, wearing her signature smile.
It's not clear if she was just getting the choreography down or if she was actually shooting the video for real. Several media outlets are confirming she did shoot most of her video "stealth-like" with no music for anyone to hear, to avoid potential leaks.
There's been no announcement on when Jackson's new project will arrive, however, if this shoot is any indication, something should be dropping soon. It will be her first project since 2015's Unbreakable.
