Jordan Peele has decided to gift fans with a vinyl version of last years smash thriller 'Get Out' soundtrack.
Set to be released June 15 through Waxwork Records, composer Michael Abels will watch his score for Get Out get the physical treatment for the first time since its release. Presented as a deluxe-double LP format, the score will be pressed to "Garden Party" green-marbled 180-gram vinyl. In addition, exclusive liner notes written by director Jordan Peele will be included inside the jacket of the vinyl and will detail his decision to work with Abels for the score. "I had some ideas. I envisioned distinctly black voices harmonically creating an unnatural sound. The absence of hope. The void of the voiceless. A disembodied Negro spiritual. The Sunken Place," writes Peele. Aside from being lauded by movie critics and fans alike, Get Out earned a bevy of nominations at this year's Academy Awards including best picture, best director, and best actor for Daniel Kaluuya.
