BTS has released another teaser video for the lead single “DNA” on Friday (Sept. 15). While yesterday’s clip revealed a short snippet of the whistling melody and some instrumentals of “DNA,” the newest video showcases a few seconds of the song's airy electro-pop sounds and vibrant digital blips. It also shares a sole line from V, additional whistling courtesy of Jungkook, and a single drop of the titular phrase. The latest video clocks in at just under 30 seconds, and shows the septet in retro-themed outfits as they roam around a bright set bathed in pastel-hued lights. According to a press release, “DNA” is a single meant to be the “expression of a younger generation’s sweet and passionate heart of love.” “DNA” is one of nine songs on the boy band’s upcoming album, which will have its physical release on Sept. 18 and will be made available on streaming sites that same day at 5 a.m. EST. It is the group’s first album since the release of last years Wings and its lengthier follow-up reissue You Never Walk Alone earlier this year, the former of which is currently the highest-ranked K-pop album on the Billboard 200 chart. Along with the single, Her also includes “Best of Me,” a high-energy EDM track co-written by Andrew Taggart of The Chainsmokers and BTS’ rappers, and “Skit: Billboard Music Awards Speech,” a nod to the group taking home the Top Social Artist award last May at the BBMAs. Leading up to Love Yourself: Her, BTS has gifted fans with numerous promotional materials, including photos, videos, and even a scavenger hunts of sorts. Her is the first part of the boy band’s Love Yourself thematic era, the fourth in the group’s career.
