Blake Shelton is back with a brand new single, and it sounds like someone has marriage on his mind. The 41-year-old singer -- who has been dating Gwen Stefani since November 2015 -- released "I'll Name the Dogs" on Friday (Sept. 8), which is all about those make-things-official moments in a relationship. "You find the spot and I'll find the money/ You be the pretty and I'll be the funny/ You plant the flowers, I'll plant the kisses/ Baby let's get right down to business," Shelton sings on the song's chorus, closing with the titular line, "You name the kids and I'll name the dogs." Considering Shelton's highly publicized romance with his former fellow Voice coach is approaching two years, certainly fans are eager for the country singer to put a ring on it. Neither he nor Stefani have hinted that marriage is in the near future, but this song is likely to at least heighten fans' eagerness for the two to get engaged. When it comes to the song's visual, though, Shelton isn't the groom -- instead, he's the wedding singer. But the video is still plenty heartwarming, as it follows a bride and groom's family on their wedding day -- which, naturally, involves a canine companion -- and serves up a fun twist as the song nears its end. "I'll Name the Dogs" is Shelton's first new release since 2016's If I'm Honest, and his second single of 2017, following Honest's Country Airplay No. 1 "Every Time I Hear That Song."
