Tuesday night (November 20), the "Without Me" singer was spotted "snuggling up" to 20-year-old British artist Yungblud. The pair were photographed leaving a Los Angeles recording studio together, Halsey holding a large bouquet of flowers. Halsey recently posted Yungblud on her Instagram Story during one of his performances. On November 17 she posted a photo with him in an Instagram slideshow from Mexican music festival Corona Capital. This is already so sweet and we don't even know if they're really together. Yungblud is a rising alternative musician who's not afraid to address social issues in his music. He just dropped his debut album 21st Century Liability this past July, featuring a song titled "Machine Gun (F**k the NRA)," lead single, "Medication," and more. Last week Halsey denied she was romantically involved with John Mayer, while her ex G-Eazy was seen flirting with a model in late October. The 1975 released "Sincerity Is Scary" back on Setp. 13, and on Wednesday (Nov. 21), the group released a charming music video for the upbeat song. The track will appear on their upcoming album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, set to release on Nov. 30. The video starts with lead singer Matthew Healy rolling out of bed in the morning. He heads outside, dancing down a busy but colorful street as he greets passersby and spreads kindness. As he dances around like he's in an old musical, he meets another dancer, a choir, a marching band and a young mime. At one point, he even saves a man from being crushed by a falling piano as the chorus chimes in with the line "Why can't we be friends?" Check out the music video below. BTS was recently awarded a new RIAA certifications for their music by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), including their first platinum single and first gold album.
Certified on Nov. 9, the RIAA recognized BTS' 2017 song "Mic Drop" as their first single to obtain platinum certification, accumulating 1 million certified units. The song was originally released on September 2017's Love Yourself: Her and later remixed by Steve Aoki for a new version featuring Desiigner, which came out in December. According to the RIAA, one equivalent song unit is equal to a single digital song sale, or 150 on-demand audio and/or video streams. The same day, the RIAA declared August’s Billboard 200 chart-topper Love Yourself: Answer as BTS’ first album to go gold, with half a million certified units recorded, while its single "Idol" was also recognized gold. One equivalent album unit is equal to one album sale, 10 tracks sold from an album, or 1,500 on-demand audio and/or video streams from an album. It is the first-ever Korean album to be recognized by the RIAA. The act's singles "DNA," Fake Love" and "Mic Drop" were certified gold earlier this year, and BTS are the most-decorated Korean act ever acknowledged by the RIAA. BTS is currently in the middle of the Japanese leg of their Love Yourself world tour.
