A Death Row reunion of sorts could happen next month at the 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. According to TMZ, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg has been tapped to formally induct Tupac Shakur into the Rock Hall. In addition, Snoop is reportedly planning to bring several West Coast rappers together and perform a medley of the late rapper’s hits at the ceremony. An insider told the gossip website that it will be three songs performed by Snoop, Dre and company. Of course, “California Love” is one of the songs chosen in the setlist. There’s no official word on who will join Snoop and Dre onstage, but we hope that Kendrick Lamar and Ice Cube is on the shortlist of performers being considered. 2Pac will be the sixth hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Rock Hall. In 2016, N.W.A. was ushered into the hall, amid criticism from KISS guitarist Gene Simmons. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on April 7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Raekwon dropped his seventh solo album, The Wild, which many critics are already calling his best effort since his classic, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.
The album is his first since 2015’s Fly International Luxurious Art, and finds Rae fiercely focused on tracks like the previously released remix featuring Ghostface, “This Is What it Comes To” and and the Lil Wayne assisted, “My Corner.” “Wayne is a charismatic individual and his flows are dumb delightful,” Raekwon told Rolling Stone about the song. “I studied him way back and appreciated the opportunity to trade bars with him. I always heard his voice on this, and I was very pleased hearing him tap dance on a different style of production.” As for Ghost, Rae said it was all about feeding hungry fans. “Ghost is my brother, and we’ve been on this blessed journey for a while now,” he said. “Me and Ghost are an institution, and I know the fans were calling for a remix, so this is what it comes to, Ironman Lunch Mix.” The Wild clocks in at a concise 11-tracks, allowing the veteran rapper to do what he does best—deliver vivid, gritty rhymes with charisma. Iggy Azalea's booty is front and center in new music video for "Mo Bounce." "I just wanted to twerk in a video. Like I'm single. I wanna have a good time," she told Zane Lowe on Beats 1. And Azalea definitely doesn't disappoint in that department in the NSFW, neon-flavored clip, as she gyrates through the streets, clubs and subways of China. "Just talking to her and getting to know her, she has been through crazy, crazy shit," director Lil Internet said of the artist. "She's so cool and so genuine about her work and so honest about what she's doing and so genuinely just into it. I can't speak for her, obviously, and that needs to be said first and foremost. I can't speculate what it's gonna do, but I'll tell you one thing: I know that this is her doing what she wants to do and expressing herself in a genuine way with music and a video that she was excited about and wanted to make. "When I heard this song, images popped in my head," he added. "I knew she was gonna be in Hong Kong — I've never been, but I immediately got this kind of cyberfunk, 'Fast and Furious,' gritty feel." The song will appear on Azalea's upcoming album, "Digital Distortion," a project which took her longer than expected to complete after her nasty split from Nick Young. "I was talking about a lot of stuff on there and I ended up having a big break up and I just had a lot of life changes right before I was supposed to drop my album and I just felt like, 'You know what? This is no longer reflective of what I want to say or what I want to talk about or who I am.'" No release date for the album has been officially set.
Kendrick Lamar teased fans Thursday (March 23) morning with a mysterious Instagram post and Thursday night, he dropped a brand new single “The Heart Part 4.” The song is available to listen to on Apple here.
The Compton rapper dropped “The Heart Part One” on YouTube way back in 2010, and “The Heart Part 2″ was on Lamar’s 2010 mixtape, Overly Dedicated. “The Heart Part 3 (Will You Let It Die?)” dropped on SoundCloud just prior to 2012’s good kid, m.A.A.d. city. Lamar has shed some light on where he may be heading creatively on this album. “I think now, how wayward things have gone within the past few months, my focus is ultimately going back to my community and the other communities around the world where they’re doing the groundwork,” he told The New York Times earlier this month. “To Pimp a Butterfly was addressing the problem. I’m in a space now where I’m not addressing the problem anymore.”
