Nicki Minaj returns with a new song, ‘Megatron’, which is her first single since the release of her 2018 album, ‘Queen’. The music video is directed by Mike Ho. ‘Megatron’ comes on the heels of several guest appearances Minaj has made on other artist’s songs, like ‘Wobble Up’ by Chris Brown, ‘BAPS’ by Trina and ‘Dumb Blonde’ by Avril Lavigne. Her latest album, ‘Queen’, was released last August, and featured singles ‘Chun-Li’, ‘Ganja Burn’ and ‘Barbie Dreams’. Minaj also embarked on her UK and Europe tour earlier this year with support act Juice WRLD. Though some European shows were plagued by technical issues, the UK leg of the tour went ahead as scheduled.

After teasing fans, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes premiered their collaboration single and video "Señorita." It is the first time the two have collaborated since their 2015 song "I Know What You Did Last Summer." Both artists hinted at the single with a steamy teaser video the day before its release Friday at midnight. The video, which premiered with the single, features Cabello as a diner waitress and Mendes as a leather jacketed James Dean-type. Mendes is currently on his self-titled tour, while Cabello hinted in January that she is working on a new album. Halsey is claiming an "existential crisis" over the "Black Mirror" episode starring Miley Cyrus, but the brass at Netflix show sats her concerns are misplaced. Halsey shared her reaction to the episode about a character named "Ashley O" -- played by Miley. Halsey tweeted, "Black Mirror episode about a pop star named Ashley with colorful hair. Existential crisis: Engage." She went on to point out her real name is Ashley and joked, "If I die they killed me." Production execs connected with the episode noted that even before shooting the episode ... writers had publicly said they wanted "someone like Miley" to play the character, but never dreamed Cirus would do it. One production exec says 'Mirror' co-creator and writer Charlie Brooker was "only vaguely aware" of Halsey. Sources connected to the show say the Ashley O story was always intended as a metaphor for the careers of young pop stars such as, obviously Miley, but also Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and even Whitney Houston.
After a four-year hiatus from his solo career, during which he became the new frontman for Queen, Adam Lambert has returned earlier this year with two new singles and the announcement of his upcoming fourth studio album Velvet.
On Tuesday (June 18), Lambert took to his Instagram to announce that his new single "Comin In Hot" would be arriving on June 26. He also revealed the song's cover art. In an interview with Hunger back in May, Lambert further teased fans about the sound of his upcoming album, saying that it wasnât nailed down to any particular genre or era. âItâs an album thatâs very timeless in my opinion,â he said. âSonically it references a lot of the music I heard in the house growing up: itâs retro. There are a lot of '70s and '80s choices in there and it lives in a world that is a fusion of new and old -- it definitely has a vintage edge to it.â

Taylor Swift's music video for her single "You Need to Calm Down," which premiered Monday morning during Pride Month featured many stars and cameos. Swift, 29, tweeted before the video's release that she "asked a few friends" to be in the video for the song, which celebrates the LGBTQ community, and namedrops the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, or GLAAD. In addition to DeGeneres, Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, RuPaul, Billy Porter, Laverne Cox, Adam Lambert, Ciara, Ryan Reynolds and the cast of Netflix's "Queer Eye" — Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown and Tan France — have cameos in the video. The video, which includes lyrics such as, "And control your urges to scream about all the people you hate/'Cause shade never made anybody less gay," and "Why be mad when you can be GLAAD?" concludes with Swift and Katy Perry cozying up. Dressed in a french fry and hamburger costume, respectively, the two hug as a food fight ensues around them. Swift previously shot down rumors that she and Perry kissed in the video. "You Need to Calm Down" is the second single from "Lover," to be released on Aug. 23. The song is the follow-up to "ME!," which featured Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco. Empire's Bryshere Gray, has been arrested.
Gray was driving his 2014 Rolls Royce on Thursday (June 13) when he was pulled over. Police noticed his car registration reportedly didn’t match the tags on the vehicle. They also allegedly discovered he was driving without a license and insurance. He was booked on a misdemeanor, “registration that was not authorized on the vehicle.” Empire is going to be ending next year after the drama surrounding Jussie Smollett‘s arrest for an alleged hate crime that police believe he staged. |
