DJ Khaled hits us with another Nas track, this time from his Grateful album. Teaming up with Travis Scott, the new track, “Secured,” gets visuals from Eif Rivera, which features Scott pulling off a robbery. After getting chased by the law, Scott eventually links up with Khaled and Nas.

BoA is back with “CAMO,” a fierce blast of electro-pop energy reasserting her position on the throne.
Like a cut lifted from her 2009 self-titled English-language foray or 2010’s Hurricane Venus, the synth-heavy banger finds the talented performer powerfully strutting her way through the shadows. The track was produced by The Underdogs (Damon Thomas & Harvey Mason Jr.), the duo behind everything from Beyoncé‘s “Listen” to Girls’ Generation‘s “Mr.Mr.” (They also produced two tracks on BoA’s 2015 studio album, Kiss My Lips: “Shattered” and “Home.”) And the accompanying surrealist sci-fi themed music video, blending element of nature with technology, showcases those signature moves as BoA effortlessly transforms into a cyborg glamazon, recalling a little bit of The Fifth Element and The Cell, as well as Janet Jackson‘s own robo-reinvention with “Feedback.” Lil Kim is a suspect in a LAPD investigation after her crew allegedly robbed a woman over a BET party house.
Law enforcement sources say, Kim rented a house for a BET weekend party but apparently the crib was not to her liking. We're told Sunday at 2 AM Kim and her crew went to check out the house, didn't like it and demanded their money back from either the owner or property manager. The money wasn't forthcoming, an argument erupted and cops were called. Police arrived and told them it was a civil matter and they could do nothing ... so they left. It's also reported that Kim and her crew also left, but at 4 AM, a group of people showed up at the house with ski masks and weapons and took Kim's deposit check and cash, totaling at least $20k. Law enforcement sources say the robbers weren't done ... they also slashed all of the victim's tires and stole a hubcap. The LAPD has launched a robbery investigation. We reached out to Kim's people ... so far, no word back. Just a day after teasing new music, Adam Lambert debuted his new song, “Two Fux,” during Jimmy Kimmel’s summer concert series. The track, co-written by Ferras, Sarah Hudson, Big Taste and Trey Campbell, is a fiery pop-rock anthem about not giving two, um, you know, about what people think about him. “If you think that what I say and what I give ain’t love / I don’t really give two fux,” the former American Idol star belts. “Two Fux” is out June 30. In Lights new video for “Giants” doesn’t only take to another dimension but also shows us another part of this artist’s mind. The Canadian electro pop artist plays En, who is the protagonist in her upcoming monthly comic book series, which will release its first print issue, Skin&Earth #1 on July 12. As En makes her way through this dystopian society, she meets a mysterious being and is transported into a different world. “Giants” is the lead single off her upcoming album, Skin & Earth, which is set to drop in Fall 2017. Lights will be joining PVRIS on tour this fall. Find the dates here. And in the meantime, watch her take us to other realms in the video above. One of the biggest questions asked after Camila Cabello announced she was leaving Fifth Harmony last year, was are they going to keep the name?
Considering there are only four members left. 5H has set the record straight and explained why they’re sticking with Fifth Harmony despite the fact they’re a quartet now. “It was obviously a thought,” Lauren Jauregui told MTV News, “because it was a prevalent thing that there’s four of us not five. Regardless, we were all very united on the fact that we didn’t want to change the name.” “Fifth Harmony is the name that we grew up with and we worked for and it’s our brand,” he continued. “It’s who we are. It’s our whole entire moments. It’s what we spent five years on.” And if Harmonizers are still wondering if there will ever be a fifth member, Dinah Jane Hansen has the perfect solution. “The fans named us Fifth Harmony,” she said. “And now they’re the fifth member.” Following months of speculation and strange signs on social media ChoA has left AOA. The 27-year-old girl group member, who debuted in 2012 with the then-eight member troupe, caused fans to speculate about her status in the girl group after an enduring absence from promotions and, at one point, the deletion of all her Instagram posts. Last month, ChoA became the unwanted subject of dating gossip after being linked to the CEO of an electronics company, which her agency denied and she herself apologized for being unintentionally entangled in drama. Now, ChoA opens up about the real reasons behind her absence: insomnia and depression. “I tried taking medication and started decreasing my work two years ago. However, because the problem didn’t stem from being tired, I ended up stopping all of my activities,” she explained in a revealing Instagram post today (June 22) announcing her decision to leave the group. “I tried hard to get back to work while thinking of those who were waiting for me, but I felt that if the negative attention of my hiatus continued, this would be even more detrimental to the team members.” For now, it seems, she’s just trying to live as a normal twentysomething outside of the spotlight: “I am 28 years old this year, and going forward, I will be reflecting on my chaotic self. For the remainder of my 20s, I would like to fill them with different experiences that are befitting of my age.” ChoA also says that, perhaps, she might even return to music one day. “Someday, when I no longer feel scared and feel that I can show a better side of me, and if there are still people who cheer me on, I would like to return. I am a lacking person, but to those who keep cheering me on and worry for me, I would like to give my sincere thanks.” Oddly, her agency — FNC Entertainment — is unwilling to confirm the news themselves. “In terms of leaving the team, we are in the process of talking about it. It has not been decided. We will be deciding on the future steps after more discussion,” they told Mydaily News (translation via Soompi). (It’s an odd statement to make given that ChoA herself said she’s leaving, but perhaps there are some final promotions still left in her contract that need to be ironed out.) One year ago, AOA member Youkyung left the group after her contract with FNC expired. They’re now down to six members. “Hello, this is Choa. Kim and Kanye West have reportedly hired a surrogate to carry their third child.
Kim, who chronicled a terribly challenging second pregnancy in her blog, has nevertheless been pushing forward with her dream of having Baby No. 3, according to People. And, as she suffered through placenta accreta through the 2015 birth of son Saint, the option was essentially the only one she had left. “My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails. How disgusting and painful!!!” Kardashian West recalled. “My mom was crying; she had never seen anything like this before. My delivery was fairly easy, but then going through that—it was the most painful experience of my life! They gave me a second epidural but we were racing against time, so I just had to deal.” Kardashian previously said on Keeping Up that she was aware delivering another child, herself, was basically out of the question, and noted to friend Jonathan Cheban. “It’s not going to be happy for me…I had a full break down…I give up.” “I never have given [surrogacy] that much thought,” she added in a confessional interview. “It’s something that does concern me.”
In a surprise happening, R&B’s gifted mainstay Chris Brown linked up with R&B vocalist Ray J for a joint mixtape: Burn My Name.
Laced with 10 collaborative tracks, the project opens fire with a song titled “F**k Them H**s” and features Ray’s diss-returning single, “Famous,” to Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo smash hit of the same title. Oddly enough, neither Ray nor Breezy have been too vocal about the project since its release. There's no question that both of them are good friends, but because 10 tracks doesn’t quite make the cut for an entire full-length album, we’d expect at least a tweet or two about the new project, especially now that the internet is completely baffled about how such a collaboration would even come about. Listen to the mixtape yourself and see fans' concerns in the post below. The Foo Fighters announced that their ninth LP, Concrete and Gold, will come out on Sept. 15. They also unveiled dates for tour of the United States for the fall.
Concrete and Gold was produced by Greg Kurstin of the Bird and the Bee. Although Kurstin is known for his work with Adele, Pink and Sia, frontman Dave Grohl told Rolling Stone that it was all about having a different set of ideas than previous efforts. “I think maybe Greg is the guy that we ask to be our producer because he’s never made a heavy rock record before and we’ve never worked with a pop producer,” he said, adding that they created something that brought together “our noise and Greg’s big brain and all of his sophisticated arrangements and composition.” The band will kick off their North American tour at Cal Jam in San Bernadino, Calif. on Oct. 7. After opening the Anthem, a new club in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 12, they’ll head to Richmond, Va., and stay on the road through Dec. 12, when they’ll wrap it up in Salt Lake City. You can see the complete tour calendar below. Tickets for most shows will go on sale to the general public on July 29 (the lone exception is the Champaign, Ill., date on Nov. 8) at 10AM local time. However, pre-ordering Concrete and Gold and/or registering as a “verified fan” at their website allows access to pre-sales, provided you register before 7PM on Friday, June 23.
