Adam Levine is officially leaving The Voice after 16 seasons, according to host Carson Daly, who confirmed Levine's red chair will not turn around for Season 17 on NBC News' Today on Friday (May 24).
"After 16 seasons, Adam Levine-our beloved coach and friend-has decided to leave 'The Voice,' he announced this morning. Adam was one of the original coaches that launched the show, winning the competition three times and inspiring many of the artists that he worked so closely with over the years." Though Daly didn't reveal why Levine decided to leave the show, he said he âwill always be cherished member of The Voice family, and of course, we wish him nothing but the best.â Levine will be replaced by Gwen Stefani, who last served as a judge/coach on The Voice during its 12th season. Following the announcement, his fellow judges Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson shared their reactions over the news via Twitter, both writing that the show won't be the same without him. Levin later broke his silence, taking to Instagram to thank The Voice, along with his co-stars, for the experience. He also promised he'll "be back to say hi very, very, soon." "About 8 years ago, Mark Burnett convinced us to sign up for this show where you sit in a big red chair with your back turned away from the singers on the stage. First thank you must go to Mark," he wrote. "We had no idea what we were doing or where it was going. After the first day of shooting, I sat there, stunned. I said to myself 'there's some magic here. Something is definitely happening.' It went on to be a life-shaping experience that will be close to my heart forever. Thank you NBC for signing me up. I am truly honored to have been a part of something Iâll always cherish for the rest of my life."

Rapper, Remy Ma's been charged with a new criminal complaint for allegedly punching Brittney Taylor. Prosecutors filed 4 charges against Remy Friday which includes 2 counts of assault in the third degree, 1 count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, and 1 count of harassment in the second degree. All of them are misdemeanors. The charges are from an incident in April, in which Remy allegedly punched the "Love & Hip Hop: New York" star in the right eye while backstage at the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert at Irving Plaza in NYC. She was initially booked for misdemeanor assault after turning herself in, but the prosecutors have now made the multiple charges official. Remy's attorney, Dawn Florio, told TMZ.com that prosecutors have updated the time in which they claim the attack went down, from 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM. BUT still do not have any video of the alleged attack. The timing is important because Remy claimed she had visual proof she was nowhere near the venue or Taylor at the time she was accused of punching her, which was 9:30. Now the time has been updated to an hour later to match up with the rapper being present at the concert. Though she's facing 4 charges, Remy has been offered a deal to plead guilty to just the top charge -- assault in the third degree -- and the rest will be dropped. She'd also have to enter a long-term anger management program. So far, Remy hasn't taken the deal ... the case is set for trial in July. SOURCE: TMZ Young Thug, J. Cole, and Travis Scott have teamed up for “The London.” Press materials for “The London” teased that a something called GØŁDMØÜFDÖG was “coming soon.” The press release also pointed to a website with the same title, which lead to a mysterious countdown clock.
In the wake of his drama-filled feud with fellow beauty blogger Tati Westbrook, the 20-year-old YouTuber told his fans he decided he was going to take "some much-needed time away from content production." So when he documented his experience at Kylie Jenner's new skincare launch on Instagram, people were confused.
As a result, Charles was forced to comment on his quick return to social media. "I said I wouldnât be filming for a bit and would pop in on my other socials, point being to focus on living rather than forcing content. Healing for me consists of doing things that make me happy, such as playing with makeup & being social, instead of laying in bed all day," he posted on Twitter. "Social media is a part of my life and I like keeping up with all of you, and I know a lot of you like keeping up with me!" Charles continued. "Posting a few stories of me smiling doesn't mean 'I'm better' or my break was for sympathy." "It means I'm trying to move on with my life and better myself," he added. Charles also debunked a rumor that's been going around amid all the controversy... that the Kylie Cosmetics mogul unfollowed him in the wake of his feud with Westbrook. It turns out, Jenner was never following Charles in the first place and he cleared that up, writing, âShe never followed in the first place lol stop believing everything" after someone questioned why he'd post a photo with someone who doesn't support him.
