Soulja Boy's home was burglarized a few days after he was thrown in jail for a probation violation, suspects allegedly used his stolen iPhone to brag about the crime on social media.
A caretaker for Soulja Boy's Agoura Hills home called police Monday night to report a burglary. We're told thieves made off with tons of jewelry, cash, a phone and other personal items. Sources close to Soulja Boy tell us the stolen jewelry is worth over $500,000 -- a mix of chains, earrings and luxury watches ... and the burglars cleaned out the safe in his room, stealing another $100,000 in cash. The robbers broke into Soulja's home shortly after we first reported the rapper was back in custody after violating his probation. Police say a group of 5 men went on Soulja's IG Live bragging about the theft, and police believe these are their burglary suspects -- and they gained access to SB's Instagram through his stolen phone. We're told the men from the video have also been reaching out to Soulja's celebrity friends ... telling them they're his new artists, claiming Soulja wants their music video posted on the celebs' IG accounts and hounding them for features. And, because Soulja's behind bars, he probably doesn't know what happened.

The historically black all-male university will now start accepting transgender men onto its campus, BUT with an exception that excludes other trans students.
Atlanta's Morehouse College announced this weekend that it would begin admitting transgender students who identify as male starting in the fall semester of 2020. The move comes as part of its new Gender Identity Admissions and Matriculation Policy. It also follows in the footsteps of neighboring Spelman College which is an all-female university that has a similar policy for transgender women in 2017. Morehouse says its trans policy will only be applicable to students who identify as men throughout their academic careers. Any man who transitions from male to female during their time at Morehouse will not be eligible for enrollment. It goes without saying, trans women won't be eligible for initial admission either. The good news ... the school says any already-enrolled students who identified as trans women before 2020 will be able to graduate. But, after 2020, that ain't gonna be the case.
Madonna is teasing what seems to be a new project, or persona, named Madame X.
The pop icon unveiled the mysterious Madame X on Instagram and Twitter Saturday (April 13), offering a preview of what's to come. In her posts, Madonna wrote: "Madame X is a secret agent Traveling around the world Changing identities Fighting for freedom Bringing light to dark places She is a cha cha instructor A professor A head of state A housekeeper An equestrian A prisoner A student A teacher A nun A cabaret singer A saint A prostitute" Madonna did not confirm whether Madame X is the title of an upcoming song or album release, or if it's an alter ego. In March, she gave another sneak peek at what she has up her sleeve, tweeting a cryptic photo of a hand cutting an apple with the caption "A taste of things to come." — Madonna (@Madonna) April 13, 2019

Jackie Evancho‘s new album The Debut is out now.
“This is the first album where I was actually able to speak my mind, and people listened,” she told New York Daily News. “You’ll be able to see a bit of my ideas as an artist, rather than just a singer.” “I spoke my mind a lot (in the past),” she added. “But no one really wants to take a 10-year-old seriously.” Rather than the classical crossover music she has become known for, The Debut consists of 10 Broadway numbers that Jackie put her own spin on. “I really want to know what else my voice can do,” she explained. “I knew I could sing when I was 10, but I didn’t know what else my voice could do. It developed into different things and I found out that I have a pop voice now. Really, I don’t want to limit myself to one specific genre.” Listen to The Debut below! You can also download it on iTunes. This is not a drill! Taylor Swift has updated her website and social accounts, with all signs pointing to April 26.
TaylorSwift.com now features a countdown clock, with just under 13 days remaining until... something. Meanwhile, Swift's Instagram and Twitter bios have been updated to read "4.26." Given that the clock counts down to midnight on Thursday night, April 25, it's looking like a New Music Friday release. After winning the tour of the year award during the iHeartRadio Music Awards last month, Swift addressed the theories that she was going to be releasing new music soon and thanked her fans for being so attentive. "I love your passion. I love your attention to detail. I love how much you care," she said, before adding, "When there's new music, you'll be the first to know." Becky G just released her newest music video for “Green Light Go”! The 22-year-old singer revealed on Instagram the reason she chose to film the video in her hometown of Inglewood, Calif. “This song means more to me than people think… GLG means not taking no for an answer,” Becky shared. “When I made this song, I was at a point in my life where a lot of people were telling me no. But I took those no’s and turned them into yeses. I made my own path and gave myself my own green lights.” She added that "I’m a proud Mexican-American, Inglewood girl, born and raised in the streets of LA. I’ll always have so much love for my city and the beautiful people in it.” |
