Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Apryl Jones pretty much confirm her breakup with cast member Lil Fizz during an appearance on Out Loud with Claudia Jordan. "You know Dreux is a great man, and his focus is on Kam, my focus is on my children, and we are where we are, and I kinda wanna leave it there," she said when asked about the status of their relationship. But Apryl denies that she was the reason for B2K's breakup, despite being called out by several celebrities. Beyoncé is promoting her Ivy Park collection with Adidas. The clip includes a number of vaguely empowering sound bites like, ”I find love in everything that I do,” “These barriers are not going to stop me,” and "My freedom."

Selena Gomez just dropped her new album Rare and she surprised fans by releasing the video for the title track the same day. Selena awakes in a colorful butterfly garden in the new video, which was directed by BRTHR. “HERE IT IS!!! I hope you feel joy and peace listening to our music, and that it makes this world feel a little less lonely.” In addition to the release of their album, Echosmith also just dropped their new music video for “Diamonds”. Drake and Future have been teasing new music recently. On Friday (Jan. 10), they came through with a new single titled "Life Is Good." The duo also dropped a video for the track, which is directed by Director X and shows the rappers working regular jobs such as trash men, mechanics and fast-food workers. The visual features cameos from 21 Savage, Mike Will Made-It, Lil Yachty and Big Bank Black. The single will presumably be on the follow-up to their 2015 collab project What a Time to Be Alive, which they've been teasing since earlier this year when Drake was on tour.
Selena Gomez is back with her third studio album with Rare.
The 27-year-old says this is her most personal body of work yet, with songs ranging from deep emotional ballads to upbeat pure pop tracks with positive messages. With all of the excitement, fans waited over 24 hours outside retailers to snag a copy of her latest album. 'Rare' is the first release for Gomez since her 2015 release, Revival. The influence and stories on the new album stem from new subject matter from relationship drama to self-love, health scares and wanting to hide away from the spotlight. Gomez said that she found healing from creating the album about her real-life experiences. "Honestly, this album was kind of a nightmare to deal with, but in the best way possible," she told Spotify in an interview prior to the album launch. "I thought that I was so ready like two years ago, I had collected all of these sessions, beautiful sessions, I don't even remember half of them because it evolved each year." Megan Thee Stallion and Normani have dropped their new duet “Diamonds!” The “All Dat” rapper and the “Motivation” crooner joined forces for the fresh track and visual, which they shared with fans on Friday (January 10). The collaboration will be featured in the upcoming DC superhero film Birds of Prey, set to hit theaters on February 7. “Diamonds” can be downloaded on Apple Music. Selena Gomez revealed she plans to quit Instagram after her album is released this week.
Gomez has been very active on social media in the midst of promoting her second studio album, Rare, admitted she's leaving Instagram once again because it was unhealthy for her. "I got back on [Instagram] because I was releasing music, but I just told my best friend Courtney [Lopez] yesterday, I’m going to have to take it off my phone again soon," Gomez told The Wall Street Journal on January 8. "They know I have an addictive personality, and it can be unhealthy," she added. This isn't the first time the pop star has quit social media. In September 2018, she announced her decision to leave Instagram so she can live her life. "Taking a social media break. Again,” she wrote at the time. "As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given. Kindness and encouragement only for a bit! Just remember – negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings. Obvi." She later made her return on January 14, 2019. |
