In Ice Cube's new video for “Good Cop Bad Cop,” the rap veteran addresses police brutality while getting victimized by the crooked cops he talks about his his song. Directed by Gabriel Hart, the visual features Cube is various scenarios where he’s being unjustly brutalized by the police. In one scene, he’s arrested by police for a DWB (Driving While Black). In another segment, Cube plays a BLM protester who gets sprayed with mace in his face. “Good Cop Bad Cop” appears on the 25th anniversary reissue of Ice Cube’s classic 1991 album, Death Certificate, which is in stores now. “Sadly, our community is dealing with many of the same issues,” Ice Cube told Rolling Stone about the project. “I only hope that young millennials feeling powerless in the ‘hood can channel their own anger and frustration by listening to this record.”
