La’Porsha Renae releases her highly anticipated debut album Already All Ready via Motown Records. The 13-track album, which features the smash single “Good Woman,”which currently sits at #7 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart.
The album features production from mega-talented producers Ne-Yo, Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, Edgar “JV” Etienne, and more. Already All Ready showcases La’Porsha’s powerhouse and multi-faceted vocals through genre-blending tracks that shows La’Porsha’s versatility as an innovative star that is definitely here to stay.
“The album cover represents all of my past insecurities, and everything I advocate for. I represent beautiful, full figured women, single mothers and natural haired women, and black lives,” says La’Porsha in regards to the album art. When asked about the meaning of the album, La’Porsha said, “The title Already All Ready was chosen because many of what I just named is not considered to be ideal or socially popular when describing a rising star. I embraced everything that I thought would hold me back from pursuing my dreams, and used my insecurities to give me the courage to inspire and advocate for others who possessed many of the same insecurities I had. I also wanted to honor single mothers and defy the stereotypical dress code of a thick, brown-skinned, single mother and domestic violence survivor. I’m proud of my curves, my daughter, as well as the harsh past that helped shape me into the strong woman I am today.”

A Tribe Called Quest just released the video for “Dis Generation,” off the group’s We Got It From Here … Thank You 4 Your Service album .
Most of the clip appears to be in one shot, with the help of some slick editing, since the camera keeps rolling through a New York City subway station. As it does, it captures Ali Shaheed Muhammad sitting down with headphones on, Jarobi delivering his verse and Tip dancing and rhyming.
Busta Rhymes makes an appearance, the rolling camera shot matches the rolling nature of the song, since both are seamless without any gaps or pauses.

Sidekick Group Corp says it shipped out 42 hoverboards for J Lo and her dancers to use in her "All I Have" show at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. The company says it didn't charge cash, but their signed contract did require Jennifer to do a few things in return.
According to the lawsuit just filed Jlo was supposed to do promotional posts for Sidekick on Instagram or Twitter, once every 3 months. Sidekick says she only posted once, and later deleted it.

Alice Cooper, is getting his very own pinball machine courtesy of Spooky Pinball LLC, the same company that created Rob Zombie‘s “Spookshow International” pinball machine!
“Alice Cooper’s Nightmare Castle” will feature “classic and modern” music from the icon, not just a greatest hits type package. Spooky Pinball has chosen the songs that work best in context of the game’s theme with additional ambiance provided by Piggy D from Rob Zombie’s band and artwork from Jeff Zornow.
A teaser for the pinball machine can be seen above where the musician states, “Hello, this is Alice Cooper. When I’m not onstage blasting nearly 50 years of music and getting my head chopped off every night, I tend to kick back. Some of you may know I’m quite the golfer; that’s how I relax. But when I’m really feeling crazy, I play pinball! The speed, the chaos, the mayhem, the brutality of that ball flying around out of control makes me happy! That’s why I’m excited to announce I’m finally getting my own pinball machine. I know you’ll like it because it’s all about me; my songs, my voice, my world — it’s all about me!”
Since the game is still being developed, Spooky Pinball is not accepting deposits from potential buyers just yet. More purchasing information will come when there is a full game to display, according to a post on Facebook page of the company, which is targeting a fall 2017 release.
Catch Alice Cooper on tour this summer with the equally legendary Deep Purple. The North American trek will run from Aug. 12 through Sept. 10 and a full list of stops can be found at our 2017 Guide to Rock + Metal Tours.
