Yara Shahidi is the new face of Bobbi Brown cosmetics.

The 19-year-old “Grownish” star made the announcement Monday via her Instagram page.

As the spokesmodel for the brand’s new, “Confident Beauty” campaign the fresh-faced star will share her “beauty truths” to inspire women from all walks of life.

Bobbi Brown has been committed to inclusion since the beginning, boasting an extensive range of shades before it was the popular thing for brands to do. 

Yara shares why Bobbi Brown was a natural fit saying, “I think the brand represents what my generation represents: The importance of inclusion. The fact that it’s been so important for the brand in both makeup and philanthropic endeavors since the beginning, speaks to the fact that it’s not a commercial trend but something they’re committed to.”

In celebration of the Confident Beauty campaign, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics will officially launch The Pretty Powerful Fund on International Women’s Day March 8th.

They have pledged a $300,000 donation to Yara’s selected charities to reinforce the fund’s mission of supporting the creation of new possibilities for women and girls.
