RZA is readying a new compilation album titled Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues. He just released “People Say,” featuring Redman, who is considered to be the official eleventh member of the Shaolin collective.
In the new song, like a lot of Wu’s, one can pretty much close their eyes and pick out something quotable, since each member remains highly skilled. Take Inspectah Deck, for example, who continues to deliver mind blowing lines, which he’s been doing since day one. The new record will be released on RZA and Mustafa Shaikh’s company 36 Chambers ALC and will be produced entirely by DJ Mathematics. RZA is also executive producing the project, which will feature every Wu Tang member except GZA and U-God. “For years, Math has had the idea of putting together a body of music using modern and legendary equipment such as ASR10 with vocal performances by Wu-Tang Clan members and other prominent MCs,” RZA wrote. “With The Saga Continues, he’s created a master piece. We at 36 Chambers ALC are honored to work with Mathematics and Wu-Tang Clan to put out a great piece of art.” The album will be out Oct. 13.
