Van's Warped Tour, the iconic music festival that's toured the U.S. since 1995, is coming to an end. The festival's founder, Kevin Lyman, announced online today that 2018 would be the final run for the show that helped give rise to alternative groups like Blink 182 and Metric, among others. Here is his statement, in part: The final show in the Detroit area is scheduled for Friday, July 20, with $100 and $200 pre-order ticket bundles already available, although the location isn't listed.
Originally held in Detroit, Van's Warped Tour moved to the Palace of Auburn Hills in Oakland County.
