The Army is Strong! BTS Nominated Again For Top Social Artist 'We Are Honored'

BTS is once again up for top social artist at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, and the K-pop band took to Twitter to share their reaction on Wednesday (April 19).

"We are honored to be nominated again for the 2018 @BBMAs! Don't miss the show, LIVE May 20th on NBC. #BBMAs," the band tweeted. BTS took home the same award at last year’s ceremony, beating out artists like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.

The Billboard Music Awards nominations were announced on April 18. This year, BTS -- who have 14.2 million followers on Twitter alone -- will be up against Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and Shawn Mendes.

BTS recently announced that their next full-length album Love Yourself: Tear will be released on May 18, two days before the big show. It’s the follow-up to their Japanese album Face Yourself, which peaked at #1 on the Billboard Japan Weekly Albums, Billboard Japan Hot Albums and Billboard US World Albums charts.
