Taylor Swift‘s eighth studio album, Folklore, has officially dropped!
TSwift is here to save the world again as she shocked fans on Thursday morning (July 23) when she revealed that she would be debuting a full-length studio album at midnight.
“Most of the things I had planned this summer didn’t end up happening, but there is something I hadn’t planned on that DID happen. And that thing is my 8th studio album, folklore,” Taylor said in her big announcement.
Taylor said that she “wrote and recorded this music in isolation,” but still got to collaborate with some of her heroes. One of those heroes is “William Bowery,” whose information is no where to be found on Google and fans think it’s a pseudonym for someone super close to the Grammy winner.
The standard edition of the album features 16 songs and the deluxe edition, which can be ordered on Taylor‘s website in eighth different versions, features an additional song called “The Lakes.”
