Sleeping With Sirens Drop New Album ‘Gossip,’ Release Video for ‘Legends’

Sleeping With Sirens have announced the details of their new album, Gossip, out Sept. 22 via Warner Bros. Records. As part of their announcement, they’ve released the lyric video for the new song “Legends.”

The single shows the band in an extremely ’80s backdrop, playing on a huge grid while triangles light up behind them. The song however stays modern, with singer Kellin Quinn able to pull off his signature high notes with ease. The band has honed in on songwriting that still incorporates all the rock music they’ve been working at while delivering huge, exciting choruses.

Of the album, Quinn says, “We finally captured the live experience with [producer David] Bendeth. We have the production, but there’s a rawness that comes through. Musically, I feel like it’s the first Sirens record that sounds specifically like us. We took chances, experimented, and continued to do what we do best: create art. It’s something new. It has an authentic sound that we’ve been working towards all this time.”

Gossip follows up their 2015 album Madness, which helped further propel the band into a national spotlight with hugely fun choruses and the like. Time will tell what the rest of the album will bring, but we’re excited to see what the band has put together for their new disc!
