Schoolboy Q announced on Twitter that his next album was 90 percent complete about a year ago.
Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith announced on Twitter that Schoolboy Q's next album is....(wait for it...), 90 to 95 percent complete. Top Dawg called last fall's prediction "fake news." When asked about the "real news," he replied, "90 to 95 % done." Not much else is known about the project. Quincy dropped his last full-length Blank Face LP back in July 2016. Over the last year, he guested on A$AP Mob's "Bahamas," TDE's Black Panther soundtrack cut "X," labelmate SiR's single "Something Foreign," DJ Esco's Future-assisted track "Code of Honor" and Kamaiyah's song "Addicted to Ballin'." Though relatively quiet in the booth, Schoolboy has stayed busy on the road, wrapping TDE's Championship Tour in June and headlining the 2018 Smokers Club Festival in April.
