Redd Kross are returning to the road. Yesterday, they released club dates across North America for the spring.

They broke the news on their Facebook page with an “OMFG!!!” Redd Kross will begin on April 15 at the Larimer Lounge in Denver and wrap it up at the Echo in their hometown of Los Angeles on May 16. You can see all the dates below and get full ticketing information at their website.

Formed in the late ‘70s by brothers Jeff and Steve McDonald in Hawthorne, Calif., the home of the Beach Boys, Redd Kross fell in with the burgeoning L.A. hardcore scene, but were spiritually more aligned with late ‘60s bubblegum pop and ’70s and melodic hard rock bands like Cheap Trick and Kiss. After a few albums in the ‘80s, they had gained enough attention to sign with Atlantic. 1990’s Third Eye brought them their biggest success, with “Annie’s Gone” reaching No. 16 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart and slots opening up for Sonic Youth and the Posies.

Unfortunately, mainstream success eluded them, and they broke up in 1997 following the tour for Show World. But they reunited nine years later and, in 2012, released Researching the Blues.
