On Friday (June 9), Radio Disney announced that Radio Disney Country will expand with the launch of two Los Angeles stations and increased digital streaming.
The country music station originally launched in 2015 as a digital-only platform. Now, Radio Disney Country will be broadcast from Los Angeles stations KRDC 99.1 FM and AM 1110, as well as online through iHeartRadio, TuneIn and other streaming platforms, including curated playlists for Spotify and Apple Music. Phil Guerini, vice president, music strategy, at Disney Channels Worldwide and general manager of the Radio Disney Network, announced the country music platform’s expansion. “As country music continues to deliver some of the biggest artists in music today, we are broadening the reach of Radio Disney Country through both terrestrial and digital extensions of its brand,” Guerini said in a statement. Radio Disney Country features up-and-coming country artists, as well as big names such as Kelsea Ballerini, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt and more. SOURCE: BILLBOARD
