Pink will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Feb. 5., according to an announcement by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce on Thursday (Jan. 24). The Grammy award-winning singer will be recognized under the recording category, with the WOF's 2,656th star. The ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m., in front of the Hollywood and Highland Complex at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard.
To unveil the star, the Chamber of Commerce enlisted fellow Walk of Famers Ellen DeGeneres and Kerri Kenney-Silver; while the President and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Rana Ghadban, will emcee the event. The ceremony will also be available to live stream exclusively on www.walkoffame.com. Walk of Fame Producer Ana Martinez announced the news to Pink’s fans. “We are thrilled to honor one of the world’s most popular entertainers, Pink!” Martinez said in a statement. “She is a unique performer who leaves you in a state of joy and surprise at the same time. She mesmerizes the audience with her voice and her action-packed performances! Fans worldwide will join us in droves in Hollywood to see her honored on her special Walk of Fame day.”
