Selena Gomez Goes EDM With New Marshmello Collab 'Wolves'

Gomez debuted her new song “Wolves” Wednesday, and the track includes an EDM-style chorus with lyrics like, “I’ve been running through the jungle/I’ve been running with the wolves/To get to you.” She collaborated with producer Marshmello for the track, which she previously teased on Twitter.

The wavy guitar kicks the song off and builds into a high powered track that lets Selena's vocals bounce off the beats. "I've been running through the jungle/ I've been crying with the wolves/ To get to you, to get to you/ I've been down the darkest alleys/ Saw the dark side of the moon/ To get to you, to get to you," she sings on the chorus.

"Wolves" seems to a personal tune for Selena. "The song is very beautiful and personal and have a whole story of its own," she told Zane Lowe in an interview. "And weirdly, at the same time, I was working on it in Japan. I was going through stuff, too. It's mirrored everything."
