Cardi B Gives Away Hundreds of Coats in Brooklyn Public Housing Complex

Last night (Oct. 18), Cardi B took a trip to a Brooklyn public housing complex and gifted hundreds of winter coats to residents.

According to NBC Morning News Cardi made the visit to the Marlboro Houses after a local designer organized the coat giveaway with some of her friends. When they got the news, residents waited hours for Cardi to appear. 

When Cardi did show up, she was mobbed by fans. "I think she's unbelievable, and I think it's great she's doing this for the less fortunate," said Dana Spear, who spoke to NBC while on the scene of the giveaway.

Cardi's coat giveaway took place just a day after she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
