 Michelle Branch just married Black Keys' drummer Patrick Carney in an intimate ceremony on Saturday (April 20).
The ceremony took place at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans. Branch's daughter, Owen, and the couple's 7-month-old son, Rhys, were in attendance. The two first met at a pre-Grammy party in February 2015. They began collaborating with Carney even producing her latest studio album, Hopeless Romantic. A year later the couple moved in together living in Nashville. Carney proposed to Branch on July 2, 2017, which was a special day for his soon-to-be-fiancé. Branch wrote on her Instagram announcing their engagement, “Thank you for all the birthday love and wishes. Last night, right before I blew out my candles, Patrick asked me to marry him and then I had nothing left to wish for… 34 might be the best year yet." The couple shared to their social media accounts in February of 2018, to tell the public that they were expecting. Branch revealed that they were ready to send out their save the date wedding cards for a May wedding when she realized she was pregnant. The couple postponed their wedding date and welcomed their son Rhys James on August 28, 2018.
