Meek Mill chronicles the ups and downs of fame in his new video for “Price.” The song is from his latest album, Wins & Losses.
The black-and-white video begins with Meek sharing his thoughts on being No. 1. “I ain’t doing this shit for money no more, I want to be the greatest,” he said. “I got so caught up in having money I forgot about…being the best. We ain’t doing this to be second.” From there, we see various montages of Meek living the lavish life — from driving drop-top Bentleys, to owning mansions, to luxurious trips to Dubai, Meek seems to have it all. His lyrics, however, paint a different story. “I done did s— for n—-s a thousand times / Told them ‘No’ one time and watch ’em talk about me crazy, run and bite my back out / But I still stood tall,” he raps. The “Price” video was directed by Will NGO and served as the soundtrack for Chapter 3 of Wins & Losses (The Movie), which premiered last month.
