Lorde Shares Video Clips From Her 'Melodrama' Recording Sessions

After spending long hours in a closed off environment, you could start to get silly and weird.

Lorde was gracious enough to share a series of behind-the-scenes videos and pictures Lorde posted on Friday morning (May 26), as she counts down the three weeks left before the release of her anticipated second album, Melodrama. The tweets began with a glimpse at an early demo of "Sober," from a session in the "tiny" Los Angeles studio she worked in with the album's executive producer, Bleachers leader Jack Antonoff.

​The twitter-clips ended with a funny exchange between Jack and Lorde in which she remembers complaining about being cooped up and doing nothing but working on "a bunch of lyrics that needed finishing" when Antonoff gave her some classic words to live by: "happiness is for tourists write you little f---er." ​
