Pop duo Loote released their newest single "85%," featuring Gnash, and an accompanying music video on Friday (March 29). The sparkling song finds bandmates Emma Lov and Jackson Foote trading vocals for the first time as they explore the sinking feeling of a partner refusing to give 100 percent of themselves to a relationship. “Oh-oh I should really use my head/I should really use my head ‘stead of thinking with my chest/Oh-oh I was dying to connect/Gave me 85 percent/Only 85 percent,” the pair belt out on the song’s chorus over looping piano and handclap-laden percussion, before Gnash delivers a stream-of-consciousness verse on the bridge. The new track follows “Better When You’re Gone,” Loote’s country-laced EDM collaboration with David Guetta and Brooks, and is out now via Island Records. Watch the video for “85%” below.
