Linkin Park Cancels Tour Dates Following Chester Bennington’s Suicide

Following the death of lead singer Chester Bennington, who took his own life late Wednesday night (July 19), Linkin Park has cancelled the rest of the tour.

In a statement to Entertainment Tonight, Live Nation shared, “We are incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Chester Bennington. The Linkin Park One More Light North American Tour has been canceled and refunds are available at point of purchase. Our thoughts go out to all those affected.”

On Friday (July 21), it was revealed that Bennington’s death was reported to authorities as a “suicide by hanging.”
