Khalid and his multiplying fan base for various reasons. First, the 19-year-old was nominated for five Grammys -- best new artist, song of the year, best R&B Song, best urban contemporary album and best music video -- which prompted his mother, Ty Dolla $ign and many others to congratulate him.

And then Khalid decided to announce his 2018 North American Roxy Tour. He chronicled it all best as a stream of consciousness on Twitter this morning.

As for the Roxy Tour, Khalid posted a poster listing all the scheduled 2018 dates written over a life-like drawing of Khalid holding his painfully cute pit bull mix named Roxy, whom Khalid rescued from a Los Angeles animal shelter. According to a press release, "Khalid is passionate about using his platform to support animal rights and finding safe, humane environments for animals to live. A $1 donation from every ticket sold on 'The Roxy Tour' will be given to local animal shelters in each tour stop."

Tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday (Dec. 2) at 10 a.m. local time with presale options today (Nov. 28) until Friday (Dec. 1) via Citi's Private Pass.

The tour will officially begin on May 1 in Portland, with a special pre-Grammys show at New York's Radio City Music Hall on Jan. 27. See complete dates below.
