Jooyoung Is Back After Military Service With 'Fountain' EP

Jooyoung made his highly awaited comeback with the release of Fountain. Jooyoung's third EP marks his first new music after taking a break at the height of his burgeoning career to fulfill South Korea's compulsory military service back in 2015.

Throughout the six-track project, the soulful singer uses his signature silky-smooth vocals to explore the subjects of love and longing over a lush soundscape of cascading piano chords, beautifully reverberating vintage organs, and moody synth loops. Jooyoung eases in with the alluring opening track "Daydream," then delves deeper into the complexity of emotions with hypnotic cuts like lead single "Dive," the slow-burning "Wine," (featuring vocal prodigy G-Soul) and "Planet Girl" with a glitchy, future-soul sound.
