Janet Jackson Gives Birth to Son Eissa Al Mana

Janet Jackson and her husband, Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana, welcomed Eissa Al Mana, their son to the world just three days into 2017.

“Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world. Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably,” a rep tells People.

Janet postponed her Unbreakable World Tour last year with a video announcement, in which she revealed her plans to start a family with her husband.

“We’re in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you be the first to know…my husband and I are planning our family! So I’m gonna have to delay the tour.”

Jackson married Wissam Al Mana in 2012.

“Please, if you could try and understand that it’s important that I do this now,” Jackson asked of her fans in the April video. “I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
