Harry Hudson and Jaden Smith Join Forces Again For 'Just Slide'

Harry Hudson and Jaden Smith have joined forces once again for "Just Slide," released Friday (Nov. 9).

The track is a departure from both artists, as they sing and rhyme over the glitchy beat. "You gave me your body, I gave you the upper hand/So tell me if you love me, tell me if you understand," Hudson pleads on the track.

Like much of Hudson's work, "Just Slide" is rooted in a R&B, electro-pop vibe and is inspired by his emotional journeys, accentuated by striking and raw songwriting.

“Me and Jaden actually did not really like each other, because we knew each other growing up,” Hudson, who was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin's lymphoma a few years ago, said during a Build interview back in January. “I think he was 14 at the time when I got sick. And he was like, ‘You have to live with me because I’m going to cure you from cancer.’”
