2 Chainz Announces He is Working on a New Album Called 'Rap or Go to the League'

Just days after releasing his four-song EP The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It, 2 Chainz just announced that he has a new music project in the works.

2 Chainz posted on his social media accounts announcing that he is working on a new album called Rap or Go to the League. But judging by his video, it sounds as if this project will have a socially conscious theme.

2 Chainz also decided to promote his new album in a rather unique way.

"The album is kind of my version of Black Excellence," said 2 Chainz in the video above. "So it's all about share ability, it's all about marketing, it's all about next level genius ideas."

"We are one of a few people who kind of started a wave back in Atlanta scene as far as hip-hop with billboards being marketing tools," he continued. "What other better marketing tool than a floating billboard - aka a blimp."

In the caption, 2 Chainz wrote, "With the height of racial tensions across America I felt I should do my part in explaining some of the brain washing formulas used in my community. This album not only touches on those who did succeed thru entertainment but those who didn't! Welcome to Rap or Go TO THE LEAGUE!"
