Ed Sheeran will launch pop-up stores in each of Australia's five major cities to coincide with his stadium tour. Sheeran’s exclusive pop-up stores will open in Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane, selling exclusive Australian merch designs and collaborations with the surf and skate brand Hoax. Business should be brisk, if Sheeran’s album sales and box-office success in these parts is a good measure. The British singer’s Divide finished 2017 as the best-selling album in Australia, where it’s certified seven-times platinum. His upcoming tour destroyed the Australasian record for the largest number of stadium shows on one single trek (18) and with ticket sales closing on the magical one million mark, Sheeran has smashed Dire Strait’s 1986 record for the most tickets sold on one tour of Australia and New Zealand. The Ed Sheeran Divide Pop-Up Australia stores will open in Perth this Friday (March 2), the same day he kicks off his tour Down Under at Optus Stadium. The stores are a world-first for Sheeran and his reps, and you can check out all the details below.
