Christina Aguilera Is Back With 'Accelerate'

Christina Aguilera fans went crazy after the superstar dropped her comeback single after a six year hiatus.

Dubbed the “Queen of reinvention” XTina released new track Accelerate on Thursday..

The hip-hop inspired single features Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz and sees Aguilera covered in glitter and writing around naked in slime in the music video.

Aguilera shared the video on Twitter before posting the full track listing for her upcoming eighth studio album, Liberation, which features collaborations with Demi Lovato, Keida and Shenseea and has been co-produced by Kanye West.

Christina says in an interview, she is scared to tour Liberation because she is a mother to son Max, 10, and daughter Summer, three, but said she is excited to get back onto the music scene.

“Touring is so frightening to me, because I am a mom first,” she told Billboard. “It’s part of why I stayed in the position I was [at The Voice]. It’s easy to get comfortable and cushy in the same place and not have to worry about uprooting your kids. I’ve been putting myself on the back burner.
