Christina Aguilera has called off another tour date on her doctor's recommendation. The singer -- who revealed she was "under the weather" and had lost her voice earlier this week -- first canceled her Oct. 11 show in Orillia, Ontario, and has now canceled Saturday night's (Oct. 13) concert in Detroit.
"It pains me to say, I have been doing all I possibly can to speed recovery and I’m so much closer, but on my doctors orders I’m unable to perform the show tonight in Detroit," Aguilera wrote on Twitter. She added: "I am in LOVE with this show and performing it for all of you every night so it’s killing me to have to take a pause, but trust I WILL be coming back to make them up stronger & better than ever." "I owe it to my fighters to give you 100% for EVERY show," she said. "You have my word that it will be worth the wait." Aguilera is scheduled to bring her Liberation Tour to Chicago next, with a pair of shows at the Chicago Theatre on Oct. 16-17.
